Let’s talk about Record Restoration. Each day we will reveal our \u201ctip of the day\u201d regarding the #Winter20 release<\/em><\/p>\n

What\u2019s new\u00a0?<\/h3>\n

You might have not noticed it but now, when you delete a record<\/strong> (from a standard or custom object, from a record page or from a list view) you have the possibility to restore it without going to the recycle bin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you wanna try it, just delete any record in Lightning, click \u201cdelete\u201d on the validation pop up\u00a0.. OMG I made a mistake, I wanted to click on Cancel but I am tired and was thinking of something else\u00a0\u2026 Don\u2019t worry, If you react quick enough (you have about 5 seconds until the toast disappear), click on the \u201cundo\u201d link on the green toast<\/strong>, and voil\u00e0, a new toast is displayed confirming your record is restored<\/strong>\u00a0!!! No navigation to the recycle bin is necessary\u00a0\u2026 Lightning strikes again\u00a0!<\/p>\n

Simply because less clicks is better, faster, stronger\u00a0;-)<\/p>\n
