Let’s talk about Record Restoration. Each day we will reveal our “tip of the day” regarding the #Winter20 release
What’s new ?
You might have not noticed it but now, when you delete a record (from a standard or custom object, from a record page or from a list view) you have the possibility to restore it without going to the recycle bin.
If you wanna try it, just delete any record in Lightning, click “delete” on the validation pop up .. OMG I made a mistake, I wanted to click on Cancel but I am tired and was thinking of something else … Don’t worry, If you react quick enough (you have about 5 seconds until the toast disappear), click on the “undo” link on the green toast, and voilà, a new toast is displayed confirming your record is restored !!! No navigation to the recycle bin is necessary … Lightning strikes again !
We love Record Restoration !
Simply because less clicks is better, faster, stronger ;-)
